When you stay here you may be tempted to rest up, read a book, unwind, view the birds and the wildlife on the marshes or just watch the river life pass you by, but should you manage to tear yourself away you will find much to see and do in the area. Within a few minutes’ walk the village offers a choice of two pubs serving local food and ales from the village’s own Humpty Dumpty Brewery, and either side of the cottage are two charming tea rooms.

Add in visitor attractions like Thrigby Wildlife Gardens, Caister Car Collection, great golf courses and fishing opportunities, along with some lovely walks and cycle routes, and you are soon to see why so many people come to this lovely part of Norfolk.
