This lovely 3 bedroom cottage, The Seashells, all on one level, is situated only minutes away from the coastal path in a lovely, quiet spot in Brancaster Staithe, just 5 minutes drive from Burnham Market. Within easy walking distance to the famous White Horse and charming Deepdale shops. Further along the coastal road is the Jolly Sailors pub and Brancaster Staithe harbour for all the boating fun. For walkers and bird watching Titchwell RSPB Reserve is only 5 minutes drive away.
The clean, contemporary kitchen has all new integrated appliances; dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, large fridge with freezer box, induction hob and electric oven. There is also an under-counter 3 drawer freezer in the games room.
The open plan layout has a 6 place, oak dining table with Eames-style dining chairs, a comfy leather sofa and armchair to relax in. You can enjoy the new technology; freeview flat screen SMART TV, i-pod docking station/radio and DVD player, or settle for the good old fashioned games and jigsaw puzzles. For cooler nights there is a cosy wood-burning stove with safety fireguard.
The open plan living goes through into the conservatory, with relaxing chairs and snuggley sheepskin rugs, to overlook the marvellous view of open fields and Barrow Common.
The hall with feature mirror and handy coat cupboard leads to the bedrooms.
The main bedroom with super-comfy king-size bed and luxury feather duvet has bedside tables and lamps, a cute dressing table and fitted wardrobes with shelves. You'll wake-up to wonderful views across open fields and the rolling hills of Barrow Common. The ensuite has a large walk-in shower with drencher head and adjustable hose, basin, WC and heated towel rail.
The second bedroom overlooks the quiet, private front garden and has twin beds, feather duvets, side table and lamp, oak chest of drawers and a built-in wardrobe.
Bedroom 3, the bunk room, has a stunning picture window over-looking the garden and field, built in cupboards, black-out blinds and side-bed lights. There are also some children's toy and books. The bunk beds have a truckle and mattress under it, to be used by younger children if the top bunk is a bit too high and scary! It is a room for 2 children only.
The family bathroom has a good size bath, drencher shower and adjustable hose, basin with granite top, WC and heated towel rail.
There is a travel cot and high chair available on request.
Outside the enclosed rear garden, is south facing and looks directly onto rolling fields and the common; a fabulous, relaxing spot. The patio area has new garden furniture to seat 6, parasol and gas barbeque for those sunny days. There is an additional suntrap deck with rattan furniture, positioned well to take in the views.
The surprise external den has a much loved table football, great fun for all! There is also a selection of games, books and puzzles if you prefer something less energetic!
The Seashells is located in a quiet lane off the coastal road. It has a private front lawned area and space for 2 cars. It is a pet free holiday home.
Located in King's Lynn, this cottage is in a rural area and near the beach. Bircham Windmill and Holkham Hall are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Courtyard Farm and Whin Hill Cider. Traveling with kids? Consider Paint Me Ceramics and Norfolk Lavender. Spend some time exploring the area's activities, including birdwatching.
