An attractive and comfortable victorian cottage, once occupied by the local coastguard, the house retains period features alongside modern facilities. It is situated in a perfect position to explore the beautiful Norfolk coast and countryside.
Off road parking is provided at the front of the cottage next to the garden fence. The cottage is accessed through a gate along a path through the sunny garden with flower boarders and a picnic bench. The path goes along the side of the house to a further enclosed garden and patio with seating and BBQ at the rear. Beyond the rear garden wall is a field and track (Watch Lane) leading to a lovely sandy beach and sea, just a short distance to carry your bucket and spade. The beach is both dog and child friendly but if you prefer to sit away from our furry friends there is also a dog free beach.
Entry to the cottage is at the back via a side gate. Security lighting is provided at front, back and side. Access to the cottage is via the key safe next to the door. After unlocking the door you will step into a hall and find the well equipped fitted kitchen which overlooks the rear garden. The smallest room, the WC is opposite with fitted basin and toilet.
Further down the hall past the coat hooks is the lounge/diner with an extending pine dining table and chairs seating up to 6. A light and sunny room with 2 large sash windows overlooking the front garden.
Two large leather sofas and a footstool provide comfortable seating in front of the beautiful Victorian cast iron and tiled fireplace (lovely for open fires in the winter). there's a Smart TV, free Wifi, a few books and guides and a selection of board games, cards etc for your entertainment.
Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, one double and one with adult size bunk beds overlooking the front garden and the rear bedroom with a small double bed overlooking the rear garden, field and a glimpse of the sea beyond. Off the landing is the small bathroom with a bath with shower over and a basin.
