Those looking to learn more about the local area can wander the exhibits of The Museum of North Craven Life. Alternatively, you can see what's on at Settle Victoria Hall, a Grade II listed working Victorian Music Hall; there’s a wide programme of theatre, comedy, film and live music and indoor markets. Other attractions include the famous Settle-Carlisle Railway which offers exceptional views and scenery as it travels through the remote, scenic regions of the Yorkshire Dales, plus there’s the Settle and Giggleswick Golf Club and a public swimming pool. A wide variety of scenic walking and cycling trails are available right from your doorstep, where you can venture further into the Yorkshire Dales National Park and explore the natural wonders of Malham Cove, Janet’s Foss and Gordale Scar or take in the beauty of the nearby Forest of Bowland AONB.
