This charming detached stone cottage is set on an elevated hillside position in the village of Healey, just 4 miles from the village of Masham. There are lots of walks around the area, including a 10 mile walk along the Ure, arguably one of the best in the UK. The town boasts a good range of crafts, galleries, shops, restaurants and pubs and has become best known perhaps as the home of two breweries Theakstons of Old Peculiar fame and the Black Sheep Brewery. The area is packed with things to do and places to visit with the popular towns of Ripon and Harrogate within driving distance. As you approach the cottage, take in your rural surroundings and stunning views on offer. Step inside this welcoming abode with lots of thoughtful touches and beautiful interior finishes makes for a wonderful break and is ideal for a small family wanting to spend quality time together in this popular, unspoilt area. From the moment you enter the cottage, there is real quality and warmth to the accommodation. The main living space is a delight, with a warm and cosy wood burner set into a beautiful fire surround, quality furnishings and those little extra touches that create a lovely home from home atmosphere. Stoke up the fire and watch a movie on the Smart TV. Head through to the kitchen and rustle up a home cooked meal which is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and washer/drier. The kitchen leads out into a lovely cottage garden overlooking the vistas beyond. Get everyone together around the dining table to catch up on your day or play a board game! When you have made the most of your evening, make your way up to one of the three bedrooms upstairs. There are two super king size zip and link beds (which can be made as twins on request) and a single bedroom. To complete the accommodation, there is a lovely bathroom with a bath with shower over and WC. On a warm evening, take your evening tipple out to the front or rear garden where you can sit and listen to your peaceful surroundings. Enjoy breakfast at the picnic table before heading out on your adventures around the Yorkshire Dales.
