Just on the doorstep of the attractive North York Moors National Park, roughly 30 miles north east of the city of York. Less than 5 miles north of Pickering, you ll have plenty to do and explore right on your doorstep. Head 3 miles north of the village and you ll find Cropton Forest, with plenty of great walks available. Travel another 18 miles and you ll reach the fishing town of Whitby or you can travel there by steam train on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, taking in some beautiful moorland scenery on the way. A little further down the coast is Scarborough (23 miles) with its two sandy beaches, amusements and castle. With an open plan kitchen/dining area, this three bedroom haven is ideal for a family trip or gathering with friends. You ll feel instantly at home. Seek relaxation in the living area which boasts tasteful décor, and lounge on the plush sofas as the wood burner creates a cosy ambience while you browse through the options on the Smart TV. The dining area is the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast and plan the day s events at the dining table with seating for six. The kitchen area has everything you need for mealtimes. There are three bedrooms: a twin room on the ground floor and a double and a twin room upstairs. Two bathrooms are available: one with a bath and shower on the ground floor and one on the first floor with a bath and hand held shower attachment. This complex has a vast communal garden with well stocked borders and wildflower patches; strategically placed benches mean you can while away the hours with a good book or just admire your surroundings. There is also a communal pool house with changing facilities and showers; take a dip in the 6m exercise pool and finish off in the sauna and hot tub.
