Brompton is a pretty village on the outskirts of Northallerton; there are bi weekly market days on Wednesdays and Saturdays when both sides of the high street are home to stalls selling a wide range of goods and produce. Situated equidistant between the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors, the opportunities for exploration are endless. These include a day at the races, a family trip to the seaside, a visit to some country houses such as Newby Hall, Kiplin Hall, and Castle Howard, or a round of golf. The quaint town of Bedale is just 11 miles away; the cobbled streets are lined with independent shops. Take home some delicious local cheeses, explore the unique 12th century church or take in Yorkshire's finest scenery from the winding Wensleydale railway. This newly converted and tastefully furnished two bedroom cottage benefits from far reaching views over the surrounding countryside. Step inside the generous hallway and be seated at the bench to remove your shoes and hang your coat. The cottage is extremely light and airy. Head through to the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which boasts a large bifold door that opens to the patio outside. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you require to prepare a home cooked meal and features an electric oven and hob, fridge, mini table top freezer, microwave, and Krups coffee machine. There is also a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer neatly tucked away in the utility room at the end of the kitchen. Take your meal over to the dining table which sits next to another large floor to ceiling window with views of your private patio. After dinner, make yourself comfy on the sofas and light the wood burner whilst watching a favourite film on the Smart TV. On warm sunny days, open the bifold doors to allow the outside in and enjoy the wonderful views. When it's time to retire, there are two bedrooms: a king size and a super king size zip and link (can be made as twins on request). A very spacious shower room with a walk in shower and WC, which you can find between both bedrooms, is just what you need to start your day refreshed. The outside has been well planned so you can follow the sun with different seating areas, so you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner outside on the dining set or relax on the sofa set. Step inside the hot tub and completely unwind. Off street parking is provided for two cars.
