Nestled within the peaceful village of Leavening, just 16 miles north of the popular medieval city of York. This location is a wonderful blend of countryside and town getaway to be enjoyed by the whole family. Step outside your front door to explore the gentle countryside surrounding you before taking respite in the welcoming village pub, located within walking distance of the cottage or travel just 9 miles to visit the historic Castle Howard, sitting in the very heart of the beautiful Howardian Hills. Make your way upstairs to take your pick from the four restful bedrooms. The first bedroom boasts its own private staircase, a super king size bed, and handy en suite shower room. The remaining bedrooms are accessed via another staircase from the lounge, here you'll find the master bedroom, home to a comfortable king sized bed and en suite shower room.
