The Space:
Harbour View House boasts four bedrooms, a spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen space, two bathrooms and two outdoor balcony areas.
Located on the top floor of the property, you’ll find three spacious bedrooms. Two bedrooms include Super King beds, which can be made up into twins if this would be more suitable for your stay, and the third bedroom has a single bed. All bedrooms have a beautiful look with neutral colour schemes, luxury bedding and premium furnishings.
The floor below is ground level to the road and boasts a garage and bathroom which has a bath with an overhead shower, basin and WC.
The next floor down has an open plan living space which includes comfy leather sofas and a flat screen TV equipped with Freeview and a DVD player. The perfect spot for the whole family to get together, you can snuggle up and watch films after a full day of fun in Whitby. Open the double doors and you have access to a balcony with views across harbour. Ideal for relaxing, sit on the outdoor furniture and take in the stunning scenery of the river below.
Towards the back of the open plan space is the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is modern with wooden cabinets, monochrome tiles and a statement, high shine black light feature. Fully equipped for all self-catering stays, the kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer so the property is perfect for longer stays.
The dining area includes a breakfast bar with two stools as well as a solid wood dining table with dining chairs. Great for family meals and entertaining with friends, this space is the social hub of the house.
Downstairs on the bottom floor, you’ll find the master en suite bedroom. With a Super King bed and two singles, this room is ideal for family stays and groups of friends. The room is complete with premium furniture and a TV with Freeview. The ensuite bathroom includes a huge walk in shower, bathtub, two basins and a WC. Outside there is a terrace area where you’ll find two picnic tables and views of the harbour ahead.

For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
There is free parking in the private garage for one car and a driveway space for an additional car. Additional free parking can be found nearby, and full details will be sent to you before check in.
The Neighborhood:
Harbour View House is located on the east side of Whitby. Stay here and you’ll be in the perfect spot to explore everything the seaside town has to offer. Just a short walk will bring you to the town centre where you’ll find narrow, medieval streets dotted with shops, pubs and cafes. Explore boutiques selling Whitby Jet jewellery or try the local catch of the day in one of the many restaurants.
Head over the swing bridge which sits over the River Esk and you’ll find yourself on the West side of Whitby. Continue to Pier Road and you’ll find more cosy pubs and restaurants as well as fun arcades. Continue along the lively road until you reach the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach which is lined with idyllic beach huts.
Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.
Getting Around:
The centre of Whitby is a short ten-minute walk from Harbour View House.
Whitby train station is less than 15-minutes away on foot so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.
There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
