This lovely coastal property enjoys an enviable location right next to Beadnell Bay, well known for its stunning sandy beach and pretty harbour, historic stone lime kilns, picnics in the sand dunes, views of Dunstanburgh Castle, and, of course, range of water sports to enjoy or watch. There are two friendly pub/restaurants, plus a café by day and bistro by night on offer in the village, in addition to the local store. Stroll to nearby Newton by the Sea and Low Newton both within 6 miles for a drink in the beachside pub/restaurant. Take the coastal paths to nearby Seahouses (2 miles) and catch a boat trip to the Farne Islands. Walk to Bamburgh (5 miles) for the beautiful castle and beach, drive to Holy Island (19 miles) and visit Alnwick Castle and Gardens. To access the property, head straight into the stylish kitchen where you have everything you need to prepare your meals, including an electric oven and hob, a fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, a washer/dryer and a useful breakfast bar where you can enjoy a coffee. Moving through to the inviting lounge/diner with a view of the garden, you will find some of the property s interesting original features, such as the stone fireplace, wood flooring and wall panelling which came from the first class lounge of Cunard s flagship, Berengaria in 1938. Relax on comfortable seating in front of the cosy fire to watch some of your favourite shows on the smart TV. Enjoy mealtimes sitting at the table and planning your adventures. A door leads to a small hallway and the front door which opens out to the garden. Upstairs, on the first floor, there is a king size bedroom with a lovely panoramic view of the bay, a tranquil twin bedroom also with sea views, and there is a cosy single bedroom. The family bathroom has a shower over bath and a WC. Take the narrow staircase up to the second floor for the observatory room furnished with easy chairs and binoculars so you can take full advantage of the stunning views of the bay with Dunstanburgh Castle beyond. This is the perfect place to retreat with a drink and a book too. Outside, the sheltered, low walled garden is great for children and has a picnic style table and seating perfect for al fresco dining. Walk through the garden gate to directly access the beach a few metres away. Private off road parking in the rear courtyard for one car.
