A family friendly beach is also within walking distance great for seaside walks, picnics in the sand dunes, and rock pooling, not to mention facilities for year round water sport activities. Take a walk along the coastal path or drive to Seahouses harbour, village and beach, or visit the Farne Islands by boat to see the puffins and seals. Holy Island is also nearby, where you can sample its Lindisfarne Mead. Enter the cottage via a small entrance porch, before walking into the cosy lounge area. Here you ll find a beautiful wood burning stove and chimney leading up through the exposed roof rafters. The property also benefits from underfloor heating throughout to keep your toes warm all year round. It also has large windows and double patio doors, meaning the room feels spacious, light and airy. Unwind on the sofas, browse the bookshelves, watch the TV/DVD, which benefits from Sky Q (including Sports Package), listen to your favourite music on the Bluetooth speaker, or join the kids for a go on the games console. There are also plenty of family board games to keep you all entertained too. Walking through to the dining area, you ll find a large table with seating for the whole family to enjoy a delicious meal. The fully fitted, modern kitchen, meanwhile, has everything you could need during your stay: work tops, a two seater breakfast bar, an electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and separate freezer, and even a dishwasher. There s also a washer/dryer. From here, head up the two and a half steps towards the property s three bedrooms and the bathrooms. The master bedroom is a super king size, and dressing table. It also has an en suite shower room. There are two further bedrooms one double, and one twin. All three bedrooms have a TV. Finally, enter the bathroom, which has underfloor heating, an shower over the bath, and WC. Step outside into the enclosed, private patio a sun trap on summer days. Take in the stunning views while relaxing on the rattan furniture. There is also a BBQ and external wall heater to help keep the chill at bay and allows you to enjoy long lazy evenings.
