This lovely property is situated in the pretty coastal village of Alnmouth, one of the most popular and discerning parts of the Northumberland coast. The property is perfectly situated opposite the dunes, offering beautiful views of the beach and sea beyond. The village itself has a range of independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, a golf course and a children s play area overlooking the river, all an easy stroll from your front door. The village has a lively events calendar, including an annual Arts Festival, Food Festival and Raft Race. It is only a short drive from the market town of Alnwick where you can easily spend a day exploring the Alnwick Garden and Alnwick Castle, of Hogwarts and Downton Abbey fame. The harbour villages of Craster and Newton by the Sea are a twenty minute drive away and there is a wonderful beach walk between these two via Dunstanburgh Castle. Entrance to the maisonette is via a communal front door where stairs lead you to the first floor. There is a lounge with a large bay window and window seat from where you can gaze out to the sea and River Aln. Comfortable sofas and a woodburner are the perfect place to curl up and watch your favourite programme on the Smart TV. Next to the lounge, there is a country style kitchen with table and bench seating, an electric oven and grill, gas hob, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. There is also one bedroom on this level; a small twin that can be made up as a double on request. Half way between the first and ground floor there is a handy laundry room with washing machine as well as the bathroom with bath and overhead shower, basin and WC. A double bedroom is situated half way between the first floor and the top floor. The third and fourth bedrooms, a master with king size bed and en suite shower room and a twin bedroom that can be made up as a super king upon request, are on the top floor. Outside there is a patio area with patio furniture and bench style seating. This is an excellent suntrap where you can relax watching the sun go down over the estuary and the swallows flying in their wonderful formations.
