Walk to two pubs/restaurants, a cafe/bistro and a village shop, all within a mile. Walk or cycle the coastal path south to Low Newton (4 miles) and treat yourselves to a meal at the seaside restaurant. Play a scenic round of golf and enjoy lunch in Embleton, and head to stunning Craster for tasty seafood, both within 10 miles. Explore Seahouses busy harbour, 2.5 miles north, and book a boat trip to the Farne islands. Head 6 miles to Bamburgh for village shops, a castle and a huge beach, or drive 20 miles to Holy Island. Enter the property through the porch and into the bright and airy open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge has plenty of comfortable seating where you can sit and unwind in front of the cosy open fire after a day in the fresh air sightseeing and exploring this wonderful area.
