Enjoy the views across stunning open countryside with tranquil river and country walks from the front door. The farm is set on 20 acres of beautiful meadows and woodland just above Devil s Water, a tributary of the River Tyne and you can brush up your gardening and cookery skills by taking one of the onsite courses. The local shops, pubs and restaurants are based in the market town of Hexham but there is plenty more to see and do there, including the Abbey, Hexham Old Gaol, Hexham Racecourse and scenic golf courses. Corbridge is also nearby with a lovely range of independent shops and places to eat. Spend a day visiting Hadrian s Wall, the local Roman Fort and Museum and much more. You can access the barn via two doors, one at each end of the property. Downstairs, the barn is separated into two sides so you can all socialise together upstairs and enjoy some privacy at bedtime. All five bedrooms are located on the ground floor with beautiful polished concrete floors, underfloor heating and each side has its own staircase. On one side, there are 2 king size bedrooms; one with an en suite shower room and WC and the other with an en suite bathroom with a small bath and walk in shower and WC. On the other side, there is a twin room with zip and link beds (which can be made up as a super king size upon request) and two more king size bedrooms; one with an en suite shower room and WC and the other with an en suite bathroom with a small bath and walk in shower and WC. Heading upstairs you are welcomed by light flooding in through the many windows, exposed beams; stone wall features, wood burners and the large windows to the front are partly bi fold giving you fabulous outside in views over the meadows and beyond. There are two lounge areas with comfortable sofas in each so, families can enjoy grown up time at one end while the younger ones can sit together and watch a film on Smart TV. With two kitchens to work in, you can cook up a storm for everyone at the same time each with an electric oven and induction hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer, and there is a large dining table where you can easily seat eight and a smaller round table for four. You can also arrange a local chef to cook for a special occasion. Outside, there is a BBQ and a large dining table and seating in the gin gang area plus another patio area with a garden table and chairs so there is ample opportunity for al fresco dining while you admire the gardens and views. Friendly ducks and hens wander about from the farm during the day. Parking is off road for five cars.
