Head to Kielder Water and Forest Park (10 miles) for walking and cycling trails galore, a range of outdoor activities, falconry, and the Dark Sky Observatory. Discover Roman history at Housesteads and Vindolanda and Northumberland s coastal villages and castles like Warkworth and Bamburgh. As you enter this single storey cottage you will find yourself in the well equipped, light and airy kitchen/diner with views out to the garden which is host to a variety of birdlife and the occasional red squirrel.
