This property is nestled in an idyllic spot on the vast acreage of historic Billsmoor Deer Park and Billsmoorfoot Country Park, a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), within the Northumberland National Park. You will see fallow deer roaming freely and sometimes strolling past the garden. As well as wonderful views and stunning dark skies, you have access to a range of walks and trails from the doorstep, admiring the wildlife, flora and fauna as you go. Just 9.5 miles away, the market town of Rothbury offers a good selection of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants and a taxi service to take you back to the cottage. Visit Cragside House, walk in the Simonside Hills, explore Alnwick Castle and Gardens, head to Kielder Forest and experience the heritage coastline. Step inside this lovely, stylish property, offering a blend of rustic sophistication, named in honour of the amazing thoroughbred racehorse. You will find yourself in the bright, open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with two large picture windows looking out over the garden and deer park. There is a large sofa and three comfortable easy chairs where you can relax to catch up with one another or watch a movie on the Smart TV. The contemporary kitchen is packed with features and subtle lighting, making cooking fun as well as a breeze with an eye level electric fan oven, built in combination microwave, a fridge/freezer, wine cooler, a Dolce Gusto coffee machine and a dishwasher. The induction hob with a vertical rising extractor fan is set into the granite breakfast bar/kitchen island sit on the bar stools with a drink for a chat while dinner is cooking. The circular granite dining table and comfortable chairs make for special mealtimes together. A door leads from the kitchen into the long utility room with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. From here, the outside door opens onto the rear and side path where you can bring in wet dogs to dry off and store your boots on the welly rack. The rustic, luxury charm continues in the two bedrooms which are located at either end of the cottage. Each bedroom has a large picture window and distinctive hanging storage for your belongings. The beds are both king size zip and link which can be made up as two 2 6 twins on request and come with sumptuous bed linen to ensure you enjoy a great night's sleep. To the side of the property, you will find an outdoor shower for cleaning paws and wellies, and there is a welly rack outside the rear door where you can leave your outdoor boots.
