This area is steeped in history; you can explore the ancient towns and villages and visit Ludlow and Stokesay Castles, or if you have time, there are many National Trust houses and gardens to explore. Ludlow and the surrounding South Shropshire countryside is also an ideal cycling area. Often referred to as mini Switzerland , the beautiful hilly countryside includes the Shropshire Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that has many quiet country lanes, forest areas and planned routes to suit cyclists of all abilities. There are numerous local events throughout the year that involve food, music, and crafts. This is also an area well known for its excellent restaurants and pubs, many serving locally sourced produce. A visit to the Ludlow Farmshop is a must if you re venturing out on a picnic, whilst those of you sporting plus fours will be happy to know that some of the most stunning golf courses in the country are nearby, namely Church Stretton and Kington. The property itself is a traditional old barn conversion that reflects its rural surrounding whilst also offering the extreme comfort of modern day living. Internally, there is a very well equipped kitchen offering an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Connected to the kitchen is the cosy lounge with an electric fire, where double doors open out onto the terrace so you can take advantage of the stunning easterly views over Clee Hill in the distance before settling down to watch some of your favourite programmes on the TV. There is a comfortable double bedroom on the ground floor with a direct door to the garden and an en suite shower room with a shower and WC. On the first floor, there is the master bedroom with its super king size zip and link (which can be made up as a twin on request) and there is an adjoining bathroom with shower over the bath and WC. Outside, there is a large, private garden with a dedicated seating area and charcoal BBQ. There is off road parking for two cars and storage for bikes. On the estate, there are numerous tracks and bridle paths to enjoy.
