The Station house, formally the Condover railway station is washed in white, this detached cottage offers a luxurious feel throughout, perfect for families and large groups celebrating a special occasion. The lounge is bright and sunny, with sumptuous large leather suite welcoming you to fully relax, after a day's adventures out on the hills. There is also a games room boasting stylish fixtures and a plush leather sofa. The kids and even the grown ups can enjoy a good selection of games available, or a chilled evening with your favourite film. Don't forget the popcorn! Enjoy the beautiful views of emerald pastures, and many local beauty spots. The large kitchen comes with a breakfast table and is fully equipped with everything you will need. And just off from here is the formal dining room with hostess trolley, inviting you to share an evening over a delicious meal with your loved ones. The bedrooms boast crisp white linens and lovely finishing touches, making you feel right at home. Two double bedrooms come with en-suite facilities, whilst the family bathroom offers a luxury Jacuzzi bath tub and separate shower. Outside, the kids can run around with their four-legged friends on the lawn as you watch on by from the patio or the garden room, with a thirst-quenching beverage in hand. In the garden you'll find 2 large table with enough seating for everyone and a gas BBQ for you to make the most of the nice weather. Station House sits around half a mile away from Condover village, which is between the towns of Shrewsbury and Church Stretton, giving you access to all the attractions and delightful amenities they both offer. Surrounded by golf courses makes it a perfect location for any golfing enthusiasts among you! Shrewsbury golf course is right on the door step, Meole Brace golf course and driving range is just 4 miles away and picturesque Church Stretton golf course 10 miles down the A49. The railway line is the main line from Shrewsbury to Hereford, although the trains are regular the house being double glazed minimises the noise. There is a heavy goods train that runs through between midnight and 2am which guests should be aware of and we apologise for any disturbance. Occasionally if you are lucky you may see the odd steam train coming past! In addition we will have a fully licensed Cattery available on site, should any guests wish to bring their cats for a small additional cost Choosing this cottage for your base means you are on the fringes of the Shropshire Hills AONB, boasting some fabulous walking opportunities and outdoor adventure. Visit museums, historic landmarks, houses and gardens, and simply enjoy the time you have in this superb location. Please note: The owner of the property does live onsite so you might see him coming and going but we don't want this to put you off having a good time, we want all of our guests to make the most of the rural location and do not worry about making lots of noise. He can be contacted with any problems and most of the time be at the house within minutes to help resolve any issues.
