Ollerton is a peaceful hamlet in Shropshire, close to Market Drayton, well known for its street market, shops and eateries, not forgetting the lovely Shropshire Union Canal. Within 30 miles you can explore the vibrant towns nearby including Newport, Telford, historic Nantwich, medieval Shrewsbury, Stafford and the Potteries. All are within easy reach offering a range of events, independent shops, eateries, museums, galleries and attractions. The property is perfectly located to just relax or explore the culture, cuisine and countryside in Shropshire (19 miles), Staffordshire (26 miles) and Cheshire (37 miles). The front door opens to the hall, with space for your coats and boots, and a useful WC. To your left is the attractive kitchen with a breakfast bar overlooking the courtyard. If you decide to eat in, the kitchen is well equipped for the chef of your party with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. When your meal is ready, walk through to the lounge/diner to enjoy dinner at the table close to the window. In the evenings, relax in the lounge with an electric feature fire and comfortable sofas. Plan your activities for your stay, choose something to read from the bookcase or watch a film on the Smart TV with the glow of the contemporary fire. Heading upstairs to the first floor is the library landing with a selection of books to choose from. Continue through to the spacious bedroom with a double bed and en suite shower room with a shower and WC and cosy cuddle chair that is a pull out single sofa bed, suitable for a small child. Enjoy the double height entrance, exposed beams and underfloor heating. The barn is one of three properties nestling in the courtyard where there is also the shared orchard with lawn to enjoy al fresco dining at the picnic table, or maybe a BBQ. There is a private table, chairs and sunshade by the entrance. There is private parking for two cars at the property and a lockable store if you are bringing your bikes. Please note, the property is located on a working farm.
