Fishermen can appreciate the River Severn, with fishing permits available in town. Savour the delights in local eateries, attend events and visit museums, galleries and National Trust properties such as Attingham Park, Benthall Hall and Dudmaston or head to the historic town of Shrewsbury. With so much to see and do this is an all year round destination. This lovely property is quite unique for a romantic retreat with two parts to the accommodation: firstly the living and sleeping area in the cosy shepherds hut and a few steps down and over to the kitchen/diner, utility and stylish shower room. Lets go into the hut first with log burner, TV, comfortable sofa, table, full size double bed and stunning views to wake up to. Should you decide to eat in walk out of the shepherds hut and a few paces down to the kitchen which is well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. You can enjoy your meal at the dining table positioned by the window and feature fireplace, or take it up to the shepherds hut with the dining table there too. Continue from the kitchen area round to the separate utility with the washing machine, stylish shower and WC. After dinner relax on the sofa, watch your favourite TV programme or film, lose yourself in a good book, chat the night away, maybe by the glow of the log burner for cosier nights in, and plan your holiday activities in this beautiful area. Outside there is a garden with pretty borders, patio, table and chairs, and the brick built charcoal BBQ, perfect for morning coffee or alfresco dining to embrace the fabulous views of the majestic Wrekin. Listen to birdsong, watch the wildlife and star gaze on a clear night. You are welcome to explore the farm and meet the cows, although please consult the owner first. There is private parking at the property for one car. A secure shed is available if you need to store bicycles, motor cycles, fishing tackle or even kayaks.
