Situated on a working organic farm in the Clun Valley, why not pop to the local pub in Newcastle (3.5 miles) or the historic town of Clun. The latter is full of curious buildings, a museum, shops, cafes and castle, as well as the ancient Packhorse Bridge. An ideal base to explore this beautiful Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the southern Shropshire Hills, wildlife enthusiasts, cyclists and keen walkers alike can enjoy a plethora of paths from the doorstep, such as the Shropshire Way (5 miles), the Jack Mytton Way (3 miles) and Offa's Dyke (3.5 miles) which offer miles of scenic walks. There is lots to see and do in the area such as hang gliding on the Long Mynd (14 miles), foodie events in the town of Ludlow (18 miles), the multitude of museums at Ironbridge Gorge (36 miles) or the majestic Stokesay Castle (10 miles) to name but a few. This beautiful barn has been stylishly designed and created with locally sourced timber beams and bespoke windows to capture the natural light with strong architectural features throughout, alongside all your creature comforts including underfloor heating. Come through the bright yellow door and into the utility room where there s plenty of space for your coats and walking boots alongside the washing machine and microwave. There is a handy separate WC here too. Walk through into the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with feature wall and dramatic staircase. If you decide to eat in the lovely kitchen area, you ll find it well equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Relax with a coffee and look through the recipe books for inspiration on local fare whilst listening to your favourite tunes on the Bluetooth radio. When the meal is ready, enjoy time together at the dining table, the perfect setting with plenty of space for everyone. The lounge has comfy sofas, Smart TV with Netflix, and a wood burner nestling in the corner for cosy nights in. Natural light floods in from the patio doors with views over the garden. Upstairs there are two lovely en suite bedrooms to choose from: the superb super king size zip and link (can be made up as a twin on request) with en suite bathroom which comprises a shower over the bath and WC, or the spacious king size with en suite shower room with shower and WC. Every window has a lovely view over the garden and rolling countryside. At the rear of the property is a large patio with a table, chairs and a charcoal BBQ to make the most of al fresco dining. By the lawn, which features lovely rural views, there is a gate to walk down to the River Clun and enjoy waterside picnics in a shady spot.
