Visit the stunning Shibden Hall, home to Anne Lister, a great day out for all of the family. The local village pub is only a short walk away and, for keen golfers, there are two popular golf courses within easy reach. The area is a paradise for walkers and cyclists off all abilities, with many beautiful tracks and trails straight from the doorstep. For those wanting to venture further afield, the wonderful scenery of the Peak District is only a short drive away, as is the village of Holmfirth with a wealth of cafes and restaurants to explore. For a spot of retail therapy, head to the vibrant cities of Leeds or Manchester, both within easy reach. On entering this charming cottage, you are greeted by an open plan kitchen/diner.
