There are many miles of leisurely country walks to be enjoyed direct from the front door, including the enjoyable walk around Lindley Reservoir, which will be of particular interest to wildlife enthusiasts, as the area is home to a large number of bird species including goldcrests and woodpeckers. Within an easy drive is the spa town of Harrogate, a fantastic place for a day trip, as are the wonderful gardens at RHS Harlow Carr which visitors can pass on the way into the town. There are also several delightful towns and quaint villages to explore throughout the area, all with a great range of pubs, restaurants, shops and cafes, including Otley, Ilkley, and Pateley Bridge. Upon entering the hallway, guests will immediately notice the well designed touches, which feature throughout the cottage. The lounge provides a comfortable place to relax and catch up with friends and family, witha sofa arranged around the cosy wood burner and TV/DVD. There is also a cleverly designed area under the stairs in the lounge which can be used as a safe place to leave your dog, as an alternative to a crate. The well designed cottage kitchen is equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer, everything required for holiday dining, and to help with the cleaning after, a dishwasher. There is also a ground floor separate WC. The dining area has an extendable table with seating for four. On the first floor you will find the two bedrooms, both doubles. Completing the accommodation is a charming bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Outside across the quiet country lane there is a large private garden with patio and a selection of garden furniture, ideal for al fresco dining. Please note that although the garden is mostly enclosed there is no boundary by the stream and there is also an un fenced pond There is off road parking for two cars next to the property.
