Tucked away just off Tisbury’s high street, The Mews Cottage is a charming, white-washed, period cottage. The property is comfortably furnished throughout with many homely touches, ideal for a couple looking for a break in a vibrant village in the heart of Wiltshire. With light and sunny south-facing rooms, you’ll have a great view of all the local comings and goings from the upstairs windows. Outside there is a garden area with decking at the front of the cottage and there are endless walks right from the front door. A great base for exploring this relatively undiscovered part of Wiltshire, The Mews Cottage has one bedroom that sleeps two; the bedroom hosts one king size double bed and bathroom with a full size bath, overhead power shower, basin and WC. The living room is cosy and cute with a woodburner. Tisbury is an interesting lively village on the Wiltshire/Dorset border, well served by a good selection of inns, shops, a library, a bank, a garage and with a regular rail link to both London and Exeter. The village is set in the valley of the River Nadder, a good fishing river which gently meanders its way down to Salisbury and where herons, grey wagtails and even kingfishers may be seen. Tisbury was voted by The Times as one of the Best Places to Live in the UK in 2019. "Quote Country life for the smart set, with a station, classy shops, pubs, cafes and a top-notch art gallery. Messums" The Mews Cottage is a perfect place for nature loving couples that want to get out and about to explore the area.
