Yew Tree Cottage is an idyllic country cottage dating from approximately 1850, which is a perfect getaway for family and friends wishing to explore the beautiful countryside and quintessential towns and villages of the Cotswolds. Enjoy an evening in the cosy living room with exposed stone walls and relax in front of a roaring fire after a day exploring and walking. Guests are welcome to bring their dog along to enjoy walks around the stunning area.
The cottage is set back behind mature trees and shrubs overlooking the village green and duck pond, with a short stroll taking you to one of two local Cotswolds pubs serving home-cooked food and cask ales. The village store and café sell local produce and freshly made bread, pies and pastries. You can explore the countryside by foot on the many path and bridleways, or by bike. Less than 2 miles from Yew Tree Cottage lies Broadway with its pretty high street full of pubs, independent gift and antique shops and eateries. Broadway’s famous tower, a unique Capability Brown Folly Tower, open to visitors wanting to experience great English Heritage in an inspiring location, overlooks the village and as many as 16 counties can be seen from its location. Regular events are held in the village including a food festival, art festival, horticulture and craft show, live summer concerts on the green and music nights in the local pub.
The Cotswold towns and villages of Chipping Camden, Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh and Bourton-on-the-Water are all within easy driving distance. Stratford-upon-Avon, with the Royal Shakespeare Company theatre, Cheltenham with is famous annual horse racing festival, Tewkesbury and Evesham are all well worth a visit. There is plenty to do and visit in the area including Cotswolds Distillery, Cotswolds Wildlife Park, a falconry centre, motoring museum and Broadway Museum and Art Gallery. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

This cottage is located in Broadway. Anderson Gallery and Broadway Museum and Art Gallery are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include GWSR Broadway Station and Broadway Tower. Snowshill Manor and Garden and Hidcote Manor Garden are also worth visiting. Spend some time exploring the area's activities, including golfing.
