Berths are available to book through the Harbour Master. There are various festivals throughout the year in Tarbert; notably The Seafood Festival, Art Map, Music Festival and a Christmas Festival. All are popular dates for your diary.
Tarbert is a popular holiday destination and has several places to eat and drink within a short walk of the property. There is a whisky shop which is well worth a visit, a small, well stocked supermarket, butcher and delicatessen. There is a wealth of fresh fish and shellfish of good quality available at two different outlets. There are galleries, craft and gift shops in the village and beyond.
Within a short drive is the town of Lochgilphead, as well as ancient monuments throughout Mid Argyll and Kilmartin Glen. Catch the car ferry from Claonaig to Lochranza on the Isle of Arran and explore the island. The islands of Gigha, Islay, Jura and Colonsay can be accessed by ferry also. A little further afield is Oban, Gateway to the Isles.
