The Old Gatehouse is a beautiful, listed house with charm and character, in the historic village of Little Walsingham, close to the Black Lion Pub and the Abbey.

It's an ideal getaway for 2 families, or a group of friends and is also cosy enough for retreats and holidays if there are just one or two of you.

Well behaved dogs are welcome on request

The property has been beautifully furnished and there are many period features. Downstairs has a well equipped kitchen, a lobby / reception room with TV, DVD player and sofa with a log burning stove, and a large comfortable sitting room with log burning stove in an inglenook fireplace.

There is a conservatory dining room looking out over the walled garden which seats up to 12 plus a utility room and shower room.

Upstairs are four bedrooms - the master bedroom with dressing area and en suite bathroom, a triple and a double bedroom and a 4th bedroom with bunk beds. There is plenty of room for an additional z bed on the floor of the triple room, bunk room or master bedroom. There is also a family bathroom.
Outside there is a wonderful enclosed, walled garden and a library / play room.

The cottage has oil fired central heating & wood burning stoves in both the ground floor living spaces. Wifi is provided.

Bed linen and towels can be hired or you can bring your own. In peak season, (summer holidays) we rent the house for a minimum of 7 days with a changeover day on a Friday.

We regret that from Spring 2020 can no longer allow pets at the property

Located in Walsingham, this cottage is in a rural area and near the beach. The Granary Theatre and Bygones Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Whin Hill Cider and Natural Surroundings. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.
