On hot sunny days, the building can be folded back to enjoy the sunshine, and on cooler days the pool is kept under cover. The cottages are available for year round holidays and are in the perfect location for couples, small families or even groups wishing to tour all of Cornwall. Tree Tops is a contemporary property with floor to ceiling glass windows in the living area with two Juliet balconies overlooking the rear garden, and state of the art remote control window blinds.
These beautifully restored cottages are just a short drive from both the north and south coasts and are well placed for picturesque fishing villages, the Eden Project and sandy beaches. The wild beauty of Bodmin Moor is available from the doorstep, complete with a wealth of natural flora and fauna to be observed while traversing the excellent walking terrain. Set in beautiful and peaceful surroundings, within a pretty courtyard setting, the owners live on site. Whether you take a dip in the pool, or choose to roam the lovely gardens and woodland, or make use of the mountain bike trails, there is a lot of scope to have a holiday to remember. Locally there is a range of attractions within easy reach, including Colliford Lake Park and the Hurlers Stone Circle. Go south to Looe, 13 miles, for a sandy beach, interesting Monkey Sanctuary and the South West Coast Path. Head west to Bodmin, 6 miles, for a golf course and Lanhydrock House (National Trust), with its 450-acre grounds, or north towards the coast at Tintagel. There is horse riding at Denby, 7½ miles, and Wadebridge is 13 miles. Travel north 18 miles to Padstow and Newquay. A real rural retreat that boasts easy accessibility to coast or country, guests of Mount Pleasant Cottages really can enjoy the best of both worlds! Beach 15 miles.
