Within walking distance of the village, with its local pubs, shop and quaint tea room. A further 5-minute walk leads to the wide, golden, sandy beach, where there are plenty of opportunities to relax and unwind on the dunes or on the tidal estuary of the River Gannel, an AONB and haven for sea birds and the perfect kayaking spot. For the adventurous, hire a surf board or visit the nearby horse riding stables. The spectacular North Cornish Coast and Newquay with its busy harbour, cliff paths and shops are only a few miles away. Tennis, golf and cinema are all close by. Driving or walking up this dramatic coastline is a joy and eventually Padstow is reached with its working harbour, quaint shops and galleries along with a cycle and walking trail that hugs the shore of the River Camel. There are many local tourist attractions including Crealy Cornwall, Lappa Valley Steam Railway, Dairyland and the NT Trerice Manor and gardens. This wonderful holiday home provides the perfect base to enjoy the local area and the rest of this beautiful, historic and dramatic county. Beach ¾ mile.
