The Space:
Please note: Our property cannot be used for parties or events, any enquiries for these will be reported to Air bnb.
Our recently renovated Victorian school is unique, spacious and bright. You will be blown away by the size of the property, the gorgeous Victorian architecture and the high end, industrial interior design.
There is a fully equipped kitchen, 3 bathrooms with shower facilities and a huge cast iron roll top bath to relax in.
Our hot tub faces right out onto the harbour, with entertaining spaces both inside and outside of the property.
Note that the hot tub closes at 10pm every night.
The school has a projector, Apple TV, Netflix and if the tech isn't enough...why not have a game of table tennis or play a board game from our selection?
There is plenty to do inside the property if it rains and plenty to do outside in the harbour town, a 5 minute walk away!
Guest Access:
The Main House is an old school hall with access to the back garden & hot tub.
There is also a mezzanine level inside with a hammock to relax in.
The back garden (decking with the hot tub) is strictly for Main House bookings only. Annexe & Flat bookings are able to use the front entrance garden only.
Please make sure all of your group are aware of our rules for noise and quiet hours, and respect the privacy and quiet enjoyment rights of neighbours throughout your stay. There are numerous households living close by to the school house, including elderly neighbours.
The Neighborhood:
5 minutes walking down the hill into Fowey you'll find a selection of independent shops, fresh local produce and plenty of restaurants and cafes.
You can hire a boat for £20 and travel up and down the famous Fowey waters.
The Eden Project is a short 15 minute drive away.
The property is in an extremely quiet neighbourhood - you can hear only the sound of waves crashing at night! Please be aware of this when entering and exiting the property. Noise after 10pm is strictly forbidden.
Getting Around:
Parking is available 10 steps away from the property off the road Hanson Drive.
Please put in 'Hanson Drive' to your sat nav and follow the sign post for the 'Old School Studio' - you may park here.
Walk through the gate across the footpath and enter the wooden gate labelled 'Old School Studio'. The flat is straight up the garden path and round to the right. Please find check in instructions on the listing :)
Please note not to park in our neighbors car parking spaces, located at the far end of the car park.
The best way to get around Fowey is by foot. There are plenty of walking routes around Fowey with so much to see.
Other Things to Note:
Please note: you may see other guests staying in the other suites of the Old School Studios.
Please ensure not to disturb other guests and neighbors.
