A coastal delight with stunning sea views enjoyed through floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Mount’s Bay near the pretty village of Mousehole. Driftwood Haven enjoys private balcony space, a large modern kitchen and beautiful bedrooms sleeping up to eight guests in comfort and style.
Enter into the pretty tiled and wood flooring of the entrance hall that leads into an impressive and spacious open-plan kitchen living area. The first thing you will spot is the view with large floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the coast right outside of your doorstep; grab a comfy seat and take it all in; a lovely place to curl up with a book and glass of wine, whatever the weather.
Dinner can be enjoyed at the stylish eight-seater dining table, with the colourful kitchen’s marine blue and green décor providing a large kitchen island to grab a coffee and croissant in the morning as you watch the boats bobbing on the ocean. The kitchen is well stocked with wall-mounted ovens, a dishwasher and a large fridge freezer, plus a convenient utility room with a washing machine and dryer, a great place to store wetsuits and sandy shoes!
The master bedroom can be found up a flight of stairs leading to a lovely lounge area with bespoke furniture and local artwork adorning the walls. Sit on a comfy sofa and enjoy the sea views from the large aspect windows. The bedroom is next to the lounge and boasts a lovely space with a king-size bed, a cosy seating area to enjoy the views from and a gorgeous double shower with stunning aquamarine tiling, and an additional en-suite WC and free-standing bath.
Downstairs a further double room with an en-suite shower also benefits from seaside views, while a comfortable double and twin room shares a great family bathroom, all complete with luxury linens and towels provided.
Throw open the double doors in the upstairs lounge or downstairs in the living space with two outdoor terraces to enjoy, complete with additional seating. The rear terrace is a great place to enjoy an al fresco meal with the cool sea breeze in your hair and a glass of something refreshing in hand!

Mousehole is a stunning little village in Southwest Cornwall with cobbled streets, pretty harbour and granite cottages. Have a meal at the local Ship Inn and watch the tide roll out, revealing a sandy beach to stroll on. Take a short drive to Marazion and pick up some lovely local fudge at Roly’s Fudge Pantry, where you can catch a demonstration by skilled staff. While you are there, a visit to the stunning National Trust island of St. Michael’s Mount is a must-see. You can reach the island on foot when the tide is out or catch one of the special boats going back and forth from the shore to the island harbour. There you can explore glorious, manicured gardens and a beautifully preserved historic castle, all part of the unique civil parish still thriving on the island.
With its enviable coast, Cornwall has a plethora of beaches to choose from where crystal-clear waves await your enjoyment, with swimming, paddleboarding, water skiing, and boat rides all available. There is an on-site café and ice cream shop and a gorgeous coastal path to follow for some light exercise. Why not take the coastal path to Prussia Cove, a stunning local’s favourite with rock pools and seal spotting to enjoy?
A trip to The Eden Project in St. Austell would make a great day out, taking just under an hour and a half in the car. There are fascinating displays on climate and sustainability and a large restaurant and gift shop to keep the kids fed and happy!
