Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
Town: St Columb Major is a picturesque market town nestled among lush green countryside, just a short journey from the North Cornish Coastline. Newquay and its hub of attractions and amenities are nearby, including bars, clubs, a zoo, vibrant shops, the National Surfing Centre, and fabulous beaches, while 9 miles in the other direction is the sleepy fishing port of Padstow. The beautiful South West Coast path can be joined from the town, winding its way over the clifftops, down to tranquil coves and across some of the region's top beaches.
Located in Wadebridge, this vacation home is in a rural area and by the sea. Padstow Museum and Cornwall Aviation Heritage Centre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at South West Coast Path Section 15 Trailhead and South West Coast Path Section 16 Trailhead. Japanese Garden and Bonsai Nursery and Padstow Maize Maze are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and cycling nearby.
