Located in the pretty hamlet of Rosthwaite, in the heart of the Borrowdale Valley, surrounded by stunning scenery and offering a great choice of walks of all grades leading directly from the village, whilst being just a fifteen minute drive to the popular market town of Keswick and only five minutes from the shores of Derwentwater. Yew Tree Cottage Borrowdale is a charming traditional Lakeland farmhouse. Park just outside the garden gate and step through the front door into the welcoming sitting room with dining area. Comfortable sofas are arranged in front of the cosy log burning stove and Smart TV and in the dining area there is a large family dining table. Traditional features can be found through out the property with low doorways, oak beams, antique doors, slate floors and exposed stonework. To the rear of the cottage is the fitted kitchen and to the side is the utility and boot room. Also on the ground floor is the smart shower room. The traditional Lakeland staircase leads to the first floor landing and the three bedrooms and family bathroom. To the front of the cottage is a pretty cottage garden with lawn and mature borders.
