The property sits in an elevated position in a small hamlet with views from the back garden over the Fells. There are some fabulous walks from the front door, and it is a popular area for cyclists. You are just three miles from the coast and a mere seven miles from the Lake District National Park. William Wordsworth s birthplace, House and Gardens are just a short drive away. Beautiful Bassenthwaite Lake is a short drive away, there is a shore path which runs the length of the West shore and an open air theatre at Mirehouse which is worth a visit. Entering the house from the hall you will find a welcoming, bright lounge with feature gas fireplace, Smart TV and countryside views, the kitchen and dining room are both just off the lounge making the living area within the house very sociable and spacious. The kitchen is equipped with breakfast bar, electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The formal dining area, is in the conservatory, overlooking the enclosed garden and patio. From the kitchen walking back out through the hallway, there are three bedrooms, a king size with smart TV, a single and a double. Completing the property is the bathroom across the hall from the bedrooms, with bath, separate shower and WC. Heading out of the house into the large enclosed garden, there is a lawn to the front of the house and some lovely fruit trees, swings, picnic bench and patio with seating and swing chair to the rear of the property with a BBQ area (for use with disposable BBQ s, not provided). The large private hot tub is so inviting, relax and take in the views over the Fells whilst enjoying a few drinks, it is also the perfect spot for star gazing. The garage is home to the utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer and a table tennis which will bring out the competition in the party. You might also spot a pigmy goat or Shetland pony in the fields at the back of the house. The drive has private parking for two cars.
