Gosforth is a cosy little village nestled between the mountains and the sea on the western fringe of the Lake District National Park. It boasts four pubs, a busy village shop, a cafe and restaurant, and a great network of walks. Families are well catered for with an excellent play park in the village as well, or should you wish to do some messing about on the water, then why not try your hand at stand up paddleboarding on Wastwater or kayaking down the crystal clear River Esk? Muncaster Castle makes a great family day out just 6 miles away. It's a historic (and legend has it, haunted) gem, set in stunning grounds with lots of events going on for visitors throughout the year. As soon as you walk into this property, you will feel a world away from everything and ready for your holiday. The lounge, located on the first floor, has all you need to relax and unwind, with a smart TV and a gas fire, all surrounded by two sofas and two armchairs. The modern kitchen is designed with ease in mind, with plenty of worktop space and a breakfast bar, along with an AGA with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. Next, is the conservatory which offers lovely views out over the garden and is a peaceful setting with comfy seating to enjoy a good book or evening drink. Finally on the ground floor is the dining room with some wonderful features such as the glass wall and feature fireplace. There is a utility area located on the lower ground floor with a washing machine and bike storage. Onto the first floor, is the master bedroom with a king size bed and plenty of storage space. Next is a super king size zip and link which can be made up as a twin on request, with an additional single bed in the alcove suitable for a child, with lovely views over the fells. Next door is the main bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Along the corridor is a single room and up the stairs on the second floor is the last bedroom which is a twin room, and again offers amazing views. The garden offers a lovely lawned area with a seating area and a charcoal BBQ. There is roadside parking, subject to availability.
