This farmhouse is bordered by some fabulous walks for all abilities, cycling and running routes. The picture postcard village of Buttermere has local amenities and some of the most stunning scenery in the Lake District. The market town of Keswick is just 12 miles away and if you travel on the pass between Newlands Valley and Buttermere Valley the scenery is breathtaking. En route you are bound to see Moss Force waterfall you can park up and walk right up to this magical site. This is a great location to explore the Lake District either by foot, bike or car. As you enter the house you will find yourself in the utility/boot room. This is a great entrance after a long walk and an ideal place for all your outdoor equipment or buggies there is a washing machine and tumble dryer in this area too. From here you will walk into the contemporary kitchen, with its cosy oil AGA and dining table which offers a great space to chat, catch up and plan for the next day. The kitchen is equipped with an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer. From the kitchen, there is a spacious lounge with an open fire, Smart TV and comfy sofas to kick back and relax. As you head up to the first floor, you will find four bedrooms. There is a twin and the master king size with a small sofa/sitting area. Further along the hall, there is the bathroom with a separate shower, bath and WC. Finally, there is a family suite next door with a double bedroom which leads through to a single bedroom. Due to the age of the house, the double bedroom has a lower door frame, so care needs to be taken. There is no private garden, but the village has lots of open space for you to enjoy a sunny evening. There is private parking in front of the property for three cars with a newly installed a commando electric car charging point.
