The barn is situated in beautiful countryside near Lake Windermere and is surrounded by gardens, a paddock, and woodland to explore. The private woodland is part of a rare Atlantic rainforest and offers scenic walks to nearby High Dam, Finsthwaite Heights, and Rusland Heights.

Inside the barn, guests can enjoy two bright reception areas with French windows leading to a sunny terrace, as well as a cozy 'Snug' downstairs. There are 2 modern bath and shower rooms, 3 elegant king-size bedrooms, and a restful twin room. The well-equipped kitchen and open plan dining area are perfect for cooking and formal meals. Outside, there is a secluded garden with a herbaceous border, a yard for sports equipment, a BBQ, and a firepit. A wood-fired hot tub, installed in 2021, offers a relaxing spot for star gazing.

Nearby towns like Ulverston and Kendal, as well as picturesque villages like Cartmel, are a short drive away. For hiking enthusiasts, Coniston Old Man is a 25-minute drive from the property. Other local attractions include historic sites, the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway, and Beatrix Potter's former home at Hill Top.
