This detached barn set in the owners' grounds provides comfortable character beamed contemporary style accommodation. Located in a quiet village there is easy access into the heart of the Peak District National Park. There are numerous walks from the doorstep and Carsington Water, with lots of activities such as cycling and watersports on offer. Chatsworth House and Kedleston Hall are all a short drive away, as are pretty towns and villages such as Matlock Bath, Ashbourne, Bakewell and Buxton, all of which boast an array of shops and restaurants. The interior of the cottage perfectly matches the beautiful exterior. A large glazed door leads into the spacious lounge and open plan kitchen with gorgeous stone flagged floors. The kitchen dining area contains all the essentials that guests will need during their stay. Relax on the comfy corner sofa infront of the TV in this welcoming space. Upstairs, the bedroom is surprisingly large given the cosy cottage feel of the barn. Velux roof lights make this a spacious bright and airy room in the eaves, while exposed original oak beams gives this king size room a wonderful feel. The suite area of the bedroom is the perfect place for curling up in one of the armchairs with a book or simply taking in the views. The bedroom has an en suite with walk in shower, hand basin, heated towel rail and toilet and underfloor heating. Outside is patio seating, this chocolate box barn offers guests a charming, cosy stay in a wonderful village location.
