Situated on the owners working farm this cottage is situated within easy reach of the village of Brassington which boasts a beautiful Norman church, historic streets, and two quaint pubs. Carsington water is on the doorstep with a wide range of outdoor activities to be enjoyed both on and off the water. Try your hand at windsurfing, canoeing and fishing or for those who like a dry land, push yourself to the limits on an 8 mile mountain bike course. You will also find an award winning restaurant, playground, courtyard shops, four bird hides and miles of footpaths and bridleways to explore. Make sure you visit pretty towns and villages such as Matlock Bath, Ashbourne, Bakewell and Buxton, all of which boast an array of shops and restaurants. Step into the barn to into the kitchen/diner with traditional stone underfoot gently warmed with underfloor heating throughout downstairs. The vaulted ceiling contributes to the bright and open space with the kitchen offering everything you need to rustle up a hearty meal such as electric oven and gas hob, fridge, microwave and washing machine. Come together around the farmhouse dining table and plan the day's activities ahead. Head through to the lounge with windows encapsulating the wonderful views. Curl up on the sofa with a good book or pop something on the Smart TV. Upstairs the master bedroom is a super king size zip and link (which can be made into a twin on request). The bathroom offers a shower over bath and WC. Outside there is a spacious garden with a patio and gravel. Enjoy dining alfresco with good company watching the sunset over the surrounding countryside and the cattle grazing from your back garden. There is ample off road parking.
