Approached via a rough farm track, the property is the epitome of a rural idyll. Nestled high on the Combs Edge it is a great place to get away from it all. Nearby, Combs reservoir and the Midshires Way offer enjoyable walks through the rolling countryside. The town of Chapel en le Frith is just two miles away offering local amenities and even closer the village of Combs with an excellent pub ideal for eating out. Up a flight of steps, the first floor of this countryside barn features underfloor heating providing a cosy warmth to the property. The exposed beams and high barn ceilings give a sense of space and character, while at the rear of the barn a fully equipped kitchen contains all the essentials for guests. The lounge dining area commands inspiring views of the countryside, and a woodburner perfectly complements the homely space. The main bedroom with wooden floors, contains a double bed where guests will sleep soundly under spacious high ceilings after a day spent outdoors exploring the landscape. There are not one, but two bathrooms leading off the bedroom. One with a power shower, and the other bathroom with a bath, hand basin and toilet. Outside the barn, there is a lovely patio area where the guests can relax in the sunshine and drink in the views. For those evenings that are a little colder, there is nothing better than curling up in front of the log burning stove and watching a TV.
