You are spoilt for choice with a range of cafes, pubs and restaurants to enjoy, all located nearby of the cottage. The village base is ideal being located in the heart of the Peak District National Parks with walks from the village into the parklands of Chatsworth House and Gardens. For something a little more challenging head up to the Curbar Edge and Dark Peak for rewarding views over the countryside and for those who don t fancy cooking there are restaurants close by. Meander through the stone paved front garden and through the front door to the entrance hall, kick of your boots, take off your coat and wander through to explore. The cosy lounge offers a glorious original open fire just waiting for winter evenings. Put your feet up on the sofa, curl up on the comfy reading chairs with a good book or relax in front of the TV/DVD. Moving through to the spacious open plan kitchen/diner which is tastefully decorated with neutral tones. The kitchen offers everything you need to rustle up a good meal including electric oven and hob, dishwasher and fridge. Enjoy your culinary efforts dining with good company around the traditional dining table. The conservatory provides a warm spot to relax on the comfy seating and watch the birds in the garden with doors leading outside. There is a handy utility room with washing machine, freezer and a shower room with shower and WC. Heading up the stairs to the first floor there is a king size bedroom decorated in neutral tones with built in wardrobes and twin zip and link bedroom (which can be made into super king size on request), both providing a gorgeous space for a restful nights sleep. The bathroom offers a shower over bath and WC. Over the stairs tucked away in the eves is a sleeping area perfect for kids who like a bit of adventure which is accessed via a ladder over the stairs. The front garden is enclosed and stone paved with mature planting which leads through to the back and offers a table, outdoor seating perfect for relaxing summer evenings in the garden. The secure garden offers a place to store bikes behind a locked gate. There is off road parking for one car.
