Buxton renowned for its Opera House and Pavilion Gardens is a short drive away. You are also at the gateway to the dales and the Peak District National Park, the perfect place to enjoy long walks, leisurely bike rides or horse riding in the quiet Derbyshire countryside. From the cottage some of the best walking in Derbyshire can be found. Stepping into the cottage leads into the dining room with a dining table big enough for the whole family and a statue of a red lion above the interesting antique range. The kitchen, finished in oak, is a great place for preparing homemade meals with everything you need for a home away from home stay. The lounge has comfortable sofas and a lovely characterful feature fireplace, the perfect place to relax after a hard days walking. On the first floor there are three bedrooms with wooden floors, occasional rugs and original stone fireplaces. The king size master bedroom has an oak cabin bed with matching furnishings and an en suite shower and WC. There is a double bedroom and twin bedroom both with lovely views over the village. There is a bathroom with a shower over the spa bath and WC. Outside there is a walled patio area with garden furniture overlooking the grassed garden which is a great BBQ spot. There is off road parking for two cars.
