Ideally positioned within walking distance from the centre of the pretty market town of Bakewell and its many amenities, guests can meander through the delightful array of shops and cafes before heading back to the cottage via a gentle walk along the riverbanks. For those seeking a more adventurous walk, the nearby Monsal Dale offers great cycling and hiking trails through the spectacular landscape. After working up an appetite, guests can head to one of the local pubs to relax and rejuvenate. Entry to the property is from a private road that runs adjacent to the brook. The house has a lovely kitchen dining area which is equipped with all the necessities for cooking for groups. The lounge is an excellent size and provides a great space for entertaining, with a gas log burning stove that makes a central feature of the room.
