Located in the pretty hamlet of Stoke which has a beautiful church, Hartland Abbey and is within walking distance of Hartland Quay, with it s maritime history and pub which serves food throughout the year. Just two miles up the road is the village of Hartland, which boasts three pubs, two shops, galleries and a café, perfect to stock up on the essentials and spend many evenings tasting the produce of local pubs. For supermarkets and fuel stations head 15 miles in either direction along the A39, to the south you will find the coastal town of Bude with three sandy beaches and many shops and host of outdoor activities, and Bideford to the east, where you can catch the local boat over to Lundy for the day. A beautiful period cottage with original beams and beautiful fire places. Stepping into the side entrance, brings you into the kitchen, which is equipped ready for the chefs of the family, with two electric ovens and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Off to the right of the kitchen down two steps you will find the first bedroom, a twin. Heading back through the kitchen into the lounge/diner, which has large comfy sofas surrounding the wood burner and Smart TV, perfect to relax and catch up on your favourite programmes. There is also a large dining table seating 10, which is great to catch up after a day exploring the local area. There is also a snug the perfect place to chill out and have a bit of down time with a good book in front of the warming flame effect electric fire or watch a movie on the Smart TV. Further to this you will find another bedroom on the ground floor, which is a double. Completing the ground floor are the two shower rooms with shower and WC and a separate WC. Heading up to the first floor, where head height may be restricted due to the nature of the property and eaves of the building. There are three bedrooms on this floor, a double, a single and a double with an additional single bed. There is also a bathroom with hand held shower over bath and WC. Completing the property accessed via the kitchen with a lockable door, is the private indoor heated swimming pool with doors to the outside decked area. Plus why not enjoy the games room with a pool table and ping pong table. All of these are just perfect for all the family while entertaining within the property. Outside to the front of the property is an enclosed courtyard, and to the back is the decking area with charcoal BBQ and the enclosed lawned garden (bath dog secure), from here there are views over the church tower and through the valley to Hartland Abbey. There is also a utility area within the games room with a tumble dryer. There is gated parking for four cars at the rear of the cottage.
