This contemporary, detached cottage is set over three floors and sits in an idyllic, elevated position within the North Devon Heritage Coast Nature Reserve, just one mile from the serene seaside resort of Ilfracombe. Create unforgettable memories with friends and family at the incredible Valley View, which boasts breath-taking, 180-degree, panoramic views of rolling countryside. You will be spoilt by the gardens that surround the property, including lawns, flowers, a pond and two large sun decks to make the most of the views. After an exhilarating day of trekking the coastal path and exploring the surrounding landscape, hang up your coats, kick off your muddy shoes in the boot room and take one last glance at the exquisite scenery, before heading inside for a night of relaxation. Turn yourself into a Michelin-starred chef with the spectacular kitchen providing all the high-quality fixtures and fittings you could possibly need, including an inset stainless steel sink unit with mixer tap, an American-style fridge/freezer and Range cooker. Enjoy your meals in the adjacent dining room, which boasts a cosy wood burning stove and plenty of seating, the ideal place to bring everybody together. The bright and airy sitting room boasts triple aspect, south-facing windows, which provide awe-inspiring views, making the experience extra special. Head up the wooden staircase to the bright and spacious landing, with views down the valley, which doubles as a fun-filled games area, complete with table football and an assortment of children's games and toys. Get that all-important peaceful night's sleep in one of five sumptuously decorated bedrooms; the first-floor master bedroom showcases a dressing area with mirrored wardrobes, a delightful en-suite shower room and a Juliet balcony for added wow factor. The second master suite occupies the entire lower ground floor, with patio doors opening directly onto the lawn, as well as an en-suite shower room, complete with a state-of-the-art sauna for you to truly indulge and unwind in. On the ground floor, adjacent to the two ground floor bedrooms, you'll find the newly refurbished family bathroom, furnished to a superb standard, together with an additional shower room. Outside, there is a glorious sun deck, another real highlight of the property, offering plenty of space for outdoor entertainment, along with seating, a BBQ and yet more panoramic views across the valley. There’s even a six-seat hot tub for you to relax in and enjoy a glass of bubbly, while the two sun decks and south-facing aspect of the garden means you can soak up every last drop of sunlight. The property sits within the vicinity of some amazing beaches; just four miles away is the award-winning Woolacombe beach, one of the finest beaches in the West Country and a firm favourite with families and surfers. Alternatively, take time to wander the beautiful, private, formal gardens at your leisure. Valley View itself is nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty; from the end of the drive is a footpath in both directions, linking to the scenic South West Coastal Path. Those who prefer to explore on wheels can find the Tarka Line Cycle route, running through the valley, while there are several fishing lakes in the unspoilt woodland, just a ten-minute walk from the property. Head to Ilfracombe, approximately 1 mile away, and sunbathe on its glorious beach, stroll along the picturesque harbour and enjoy fine dining at one of the numerous eateries that have earned the town a well-deserved reputation as the foodie capital of North Devon. Woolacombe and its award-winning beach is just 4 miles away. Valley View makes for a memorable stay with your loved ones at any time of year.
