A lovely and unusual cottage in a quiet spot of Torquay, set back from the road, close to shops, bistros and the harbour and seafront. Feeling cosy and cared-for, this homely cottage has wooden floors throughout, being decorated in a seaside theme. It will appeal to lovers of the English Riviera, with the many seaside attractions on offer nearby. On the ground floor is a cosy sitting room with large corner sofa, electric stove and high speed cable TV, ideal for a night in watching a film. The well-fitted kitchen comes with a dining area, where you can enjoy a traditional English breakfast made from locally caught seafood. The two bedrooms include a double and a single and they share a bathroom. To the outside is an enclosed courtyard garden with furniture, making it a good place to relax after a day exploring the area. Stroll to the harbour to watch the yachts or wander down to the beach to enjoy a coffee with a view. The English Riviera boasts several beaches including Meadfoot Beach, a fifteen minute walk from your cottage, or Oddicombe Beach in Babbacombe, reached by a quirky old clifftop railway. Further up the coast, the traditional seaside town of Teignmouth can be found within twenty minutes drive, with its old-fashioned arcades, childrens playground and safe sandy beach set near the old harbour. A cosy Torquay cottage providing quiet accommodation on the English Riviera.
