This holiday home is situated in the pretty village of Appledore, with its cobbled lanes filled with art galleries and independent shops. You will be spoilt for choice with restaurants, tearooms and cafes. Enjoy a short trip on the seasonal ferry which takes passengers across to Instow with its sandy beach and well known deli. The seaside village of Westward Ho! is only 3 miles away, with a 2 mile stretch of sandy beach great for water sports and a golfers paradise with the Royal North Devon Golf Course situated here. For a good day out venture over to Clovelly, a unique cliffside village with cobbled steps leading to a pretty harbour that is 13 miles away. The former fisherman s cottage sits in a cobbled courtyard just a few steps from the sea and several excellent pubs. Stepping into the property via a pretty stable door you are in the open plan lounge/diner with a feature fireplace housing a wood burner, comfy seating, Smart TV and a dining table and chairs that make mealtimes a breeze. The kitchen area has everything you need to cook and cater for yourselves. A ground floor shower room with WC is at the bottom of the steep winding cottage style stairs that lead to the two bedrooms one double and one single bedroom, both stylishly decorated and furnished. There is no outside space except for the communal courtyard giving access to a handful of adjoining properties, however, the pretty streets of Appledore are on your doorstep.
