This apartment is located in a breath taking elevated position, overlooking the harbour of the popular seaside town of Ilfracombe in North Devon. The vibrant town has lots to offer visitors, no matter what their interests. The artist Damien Hirst has chosen the town as the setting for his large scale bronze and steel statue, Verity, who looks out over the sea. For seaside lovers, the Tunnels Beach is a fantastic place to spend the day, enjoying the beach and tidal pool, which are accessed through a network of Victorian tunnels. There is also an aquarium in the town, as well as the Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, and Watermouth Castle, a popular attraction with its gardens and family theme park. This apartment is accessed via its own set of stairs, which brings guests to the spacious terrace at the front of the property, which brings guests to the covered front door. The lounge is a spacious and light filled room, with two sofas, arranged around the contemporary wood burner, a TV/DVD, Blu ray player, and hi fi. Double doors lead out to the terrace, allowing guest to enjoy the sea breeze during the warmer months of the year. The kitchen/diner, next to the lounge, also has access to the terrace, making it easy to enjoy alfresco meals. There is a circular dining table here, and a good selection of kitchen equipment, including a range style cooker, with oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. The washing machine can be found separately housed in the handy utility room. There are three good sized bedrooms, which are all located on the same floor as the living space. The first of these is a double room, whilst the other two are twin rooms. There is a bathroom with shower over bath and WC, as well as an additional shower room with WC. Outside there is a spectacular spacious terrace with Italianate style arches, providing a stunning place from which to enjoy the harbour views and the sea air. There is seating out here, as well as a collection of pretty pot plants, which add to the relaxing atmosphere. There is off road parking for one car.
