Lympstone, known as one of Devon s prettiest villages, is found on the stunning Jurassic coastline and has a handy village shop and three pubs. It is also under a mile s walk from Lympstone Manor, with Michael Caine s Michelin star restaurant. There are many lovely walks and cycle trails to enjoy from the cottage, including the 26 mile Exe Estuary Cycle Trail linking Lympstone with Exeter, Exmouth, Topsham, and Dawlish, as well as the South West Coastal Path. Catch the train direct from Lympstone village station to Torbay or the historic cathedral city of Exeter and enjoy wonderful views over the estuary. Other attractions include Powderham Castle (13 miles), Dart's Farm (3.5 miles), Killerton House (12.5 miles), Dartmoor National Park and the English Riviera. Quietly tucked away, this unique character cottage dates to the 1700s and is accessed via a short footpath or directly from the beach shoreline. It boasts a wealth of original features, artwork, and bespoke lighting, and throughout the ground floor is a beautifully polished concrete floor with underfloor heating. On entering this impressive property, you will immediately find yourself in the bespoke kitchen and your eyes will be drawn towards the windows offering panoramic views directly out over the estuary. The kitchen is well equipped and offers a professional range cooker with two electric ovens and a five ring gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and Tassimo coffee machine. From here, head into the snug/dining room which again enjoys incredible estuary views and is a fantastic space for enjoying mealtimes together with a large dining table. There is also a sofa where you can snuggle up with your favourite book in front of the dual sided wood burner. Head into the spacious lounge which is a wonderfully relaxing space with comfy sofas, the dual sided wood burner, and a Smart TV with Amazon Firestick, Netflix and Amazon Echo. Off the lounge is a utility room with a washing machine. There is also a shower room with a walk in double shower and WC. Heading up to the first floor, there are two separate staircases both with steep cottage style stairs, one of which leads from the lounge to two of the three bedrooms. Here you will find a dual aspect double bedroom and a twin bedroom both with far reaching views. There is also a useful separate WC. The second staircase leads from the snug/dining room to the third bedroom known as The Cabin Master Suite . This impressive double bedroom enjoys stunning views, a beautiful, vaulted ceiling, a bespoke chandelier, a sumptuous double ended freestanding bath with a handheld shower attachment, a separate en suite WC, and its own private balcony with water views and seating for two. In addition to the private balcony, there is also an enclosed terrace with outside seating and a charcoal BBQ. Here you can dine alfresco during warm weather and soak up the fabulous scenery. The cottage also showcases an outdoor secret sunset passage which is accessed from the living room, with beautiful views of the water to be enjoyed with a glass of wine from a couple of two seater benches. Parking is 200 yards away in a pay and display public car park. Free parking can also be found on some of the surrounding streets, subject to availability.
