Situated beneath Golden Cap, the highest point on the south coast, this spacious 18th century semi detached cottage has a rich history having been originally built to house officers on the lookout for smugglers. Set within the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, there is much to explore in this picturesque region including Charmouth and Lyme Regis to the west and West Bay, Eype, Burton Bradstock and the charming village of Abbotsbury to the east (all within 14 miles). Seatown itself is home to a popular inn and a seasonal shop selling essential supplies. The nearby village of Chideock (1 mile) has further amenities, or head to Bridport (4 miles) and explore its eclectic mix of independent and high street shops before relaxing in one of the many cafes. A flight of external steps lead through the garden to the rear entrance into this charming stone cottage. A stable door leads directly into the light and bright kitchen, which was newly refurbished in 2021 and is equipped with an electric oven and induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.
